Comp Eng @ UoB | Building Embedded AI Projects | Passionate About Tech + Entrepreneurship
Discover MoreHi! I’m Gloria, a Computer Engineering student at the University of Birmingham with a passion for building smart systems and solving real world problems through tech.
I’m currently working on projects using ESP32, OLED displays, sensors, and microcontrollers — including an AI powered accountability assistant with a personality, voice feedback, and interactive features. I’m also exploring Raspberry Pi and AI integration to push the boundaries of what I can build.
Long term, I’m working toward launching my own tech/engineering company. I’m especially passionate about innovation that empowers communities and creates lasting impact, particularly in underrepresented regions like Africa.
I’m here to connect with engineers, founders, and creatives who are building the future. Let’s connect. Let’s create.
Here's what some of my colleagues and mentors have to say about my work:
"Gloria assisted us on a recent internal project, and I was impressed by her technical insight and attention to detail. She approaches every task with curiosity, clarity, and a strong sense of ownership — rare qualities for someone at her stage."
"I collaborated with Gloria on a team-based engineering project, and she was the one keeping everyone grounded. Reliable, sharp, and always pushing the project forward."
"I needed help organizing my study notes, and Gloria turned that into a fully functional web platform. She’s intuitive, fast, and really understands how to build for users."
"Gloria contributed to one of our pilot initiatives by helping streamline some of the tech processes behind the scenes. Her technical understanding, speed, and ability to adapt to unexpected changes made her a huge asset to the team. I was impressed by both her independence and initiative."
